Meet Our Board and Instructors
Cassandra Perry is the President of our Board as well as an instructor for our Veterans, Youth, and Adult Beginners Programs. She is passionate about our programs at Sleepy Hollow and strives to ensure that safety, fun, and learning take place during our sessions! Cassandra has a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society as well as her Master of Education from Penn State University. She also serviced in the Marine Corps as a Military Police. She is currently going through the training process to become a PATH certified instructor for our program and is involved with curriculum development, grant process, and overall development of the programs and organization. She is a colorful person with a big personality and she is always looking forward to meeting our volunteers and participants!
Kim Ulens is the Treasurer of our Board at Sleepy Hollow as well as an enthusiastic volunteer! She always comes with buckets of apples, carrots, and peppermints and an open heart to help our students! She is proactive in grant development and the organization financials.....which keeps things in forward motion at Sleepy Hollow! Kim is a graduate from Butler Community College with her Associate in Arts. She is an avid animal lover and ensures that all of the equine volunteers of the program are always loved and cared for!
Sondra Jodkin is the Secretary of our Board and a very proactive part of our program! Not only has she been involved since the beginning but her entire family comes out to participate and volunteer on a regular basis! Sondra has a Bachelor of Science Education with a certificate in General Science from Duquesne University as well as her Master of Public Management and K-12 Principal Certification from Carnegie Mellon University. She is currently an 8th grade science teacher and an Academic Team Leader in the Shaler Area School District. Sondra is involved in our curriculum development and always comes to volunteer with smiles, enthusiasm, and an excellent work ethic!
Mark Perry is the head of our Veterans Program and is also an instructor for our Youth, Adult Beginners, Veterans, and Special Needs Programs! Mark has been in the Navy for over 20 years (reserve and active) and has deployed 5 times. He is a graduate from Pitt with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering. Mark is an excellent leader for our program as he brings a breadth of knowledge, experience, and fresh ideas for our development! He is not only excellent with our youth but also very creative with our Veterans activities! Mark has been with us from the beginning and is always present to ensure safety, fun, and learning are taking place during our sessions!! He is currently going through the training process to become a PATH certified instructor for our program.
